Whaling 19th Century Scrimshaw Whales Tooth Gloucester Schooner Thorn. The whale tooth is scrimshawed with a bearded formally dressed man with a cane on one side and an anchor and Schooner Thorn - Gloucester Massachusetts on the other. Signed by the scrimshaw carver, A.L.F. In good overall condition. There is some chipping along the bottom rim but it stands evenly on its base. Measures 4" high and 1 5/8" wide.
