Antique 19C Portrait of a Gentleman Oil Painting

Circa 1850 Portrait of a Gentleman with a White Ascot. Oil on canvas. Blacklight reveals no inpainting. There are two old fine slits in his coat which have been secured with an old piece of cloth tape. The blue eyed gentleman has a rosy complexion and is clear eyed. Good original condition with light cracquelure. Measures 21 ½" high x 17" wide. The original gilt frame measures 27 ¾" high x 24 ½" wide.
