New England 19th Century Vinegar Decorated Storage Box. The 19C storage box features white pine construction with bold dovetailed sides and ends. All original decoration and iron hinges. Retains original keyed iron lock plate. Back of box has the original old green painted surface. There are four tacks on end panel which once held a shipping label. In good overall condition with some paint loss, scrapes and abrasions to surface. There is also a chip to the top edge of the lid, on the front. Measures 12" high, 28 ½" long and 14 ½" deep.
