Has a period engraving on the front which reads American Classical Coin Silver Repousse Presentation Pitcher circa 1840. The tall floral repousse pitcher with embossed bands has a period engraving on the front which reads "Presented to Elizabeth S. Watkins by her brothers Williams L. and Thomas Stamps". The makers hallmark is Brower and Rushes , Philadelphia and New York. There is a typed written and signed family lineage history included with the pitcher. There is a crimp at the base and two shallow dents but otherwise in good condition. Weighs 51 troy ounces. Measures 16 ¾" high and 9 ½" from spout to handle.
