Early 19th Century Glazed Chintz Floral and Bird Handmade Quilt. The three-panel, one piece glazed chintz quilt from the early 1800's retains the original vibrant colors. The beautiful chintz is still as crisp as the day it was made and the very well cared for quilt appears to have rarely if ever used. The hand quilted quilt has an unusual four color woven Trenton tape binding with a lovely crisp forest green and white gingham backing. The quilt is in excellent condition. Measures 99" long x 81" wide.
