Two Old 19C Splint 18" Baskets with Painted Rim

Two Splint Baskets. The larger is split ash and has a couple of small breaks in the corner. Otherwise in good condition with wear from normal use. A touch of staining on one side. The smaller basket is rectangular in form with a small broken corner area with an old coat of varnish and red and black painted rim and wrapping. Larger measures 22" high x 18" wide. The smaller measures 15" high x 18" long. Both to be sold together as one lot.
