Carved Wooden Eagle with Shield. Boston Artistic Carving Company. The carved painted and gilt mid 20th century eagle has a banner which reads "Don't give up the ship" and a shield with American stars and stripes. Carved eagle is in good overall condition with small reglued chips on banner and one chip at the end of one wing tip. Measures 27 1/2" long and 10 ¼" high.
