Late 18C NYC Portrait - Priscilla Wright Painting

Late 18th Century Portrait of New York City Lady in Lace Bonnet. The American 18th century painting on a wood panel depicts a lady with a fine lace bonnet and silk collar. The old paper label affixed to the back gives the following names and information in type from top to bottom: "Priscilla Coles Wright (Job Wright) - Mary Jane Chalmers Schenck (Sylvester Brown Schenck) - Bessie Croone Schenck (daughter Mary and Sylvester) William Chalmers (Son Mary and Sylvester) - Isabel Schenk Ruckelshaus (Eric Ruckelshaus) - Picture painted when living on farm at 38th and 40th Streets and Park Avenue N. Y. City. Artist died before finishing. Circa 1775- 1790 New York City - Isabel S. Ruckelshaus". There is a small piece of panel chipped off at top and some light chips but otherwise in good condition. Measures 30" high x 24 3/4" wide. The original lemon gold frame measures 37 1/2" high x 32" wide.
