The Western painting depicts a huge Grizzly bear in a mountainous landscape ready to attack a startled cowboy and his horse. Oil on canvas laid down on cloth to masonite. Signed Jos. Hoffman lower right. In good condition with light craquelure. The piece has not been cleaned or restored. Measures 16 1/2" high x 23 1/2" wide. The frame measures 20" high x 27" wide."
