Dated 1840 Eagle Border - Made by Loller Summer/Winter Coverlet. The dark blue and white floral medallion designed wool coverlet has a decorative eagle border with fruit trees. Retains one fringe that is on the foot of the quilt where each corner is signed "Made by P + H + For M + and Loller 1840". The two piece jacquard coverlet is in good condition. There is some minor browning to the coverlet and there are five pencil eraser sized holes near the center. Measures 81" long x 72"" wide.
