Old 1940's Toy 26" Speed Boat Engine Box & Case

Modernistic 1940's Engine Powered Toy Speed Boat. The home built pond boat comes complete with the original wooden case. It was built in the 1940's in Montauk, Long Island, New York. The piston engine inside the boat has been partially disassembled and is missing some parts. However, there is an extra engine in a box included with the boat. The current working condition of either is unknown. The classic vintage wooden boat itself is in good overall condition with some light wear from normal use. The boat measures 9 ½" high 10" wide and 26" long and fits nicely inside of the larger custom made wooden box.
