ORIGINAL Antique HAND-COLORED scene (NOT A REPRODUCTION) that was created and produced, using a wood cut (Scene carved out of a wood block), during the mid to late 1800 s. One of several that were found in an 1858 Southern Antebellum mansion, all being offered for sale. This scene depicts characters from the Civil War, about to fire on Washington. A cartoon that represents the desire of retired Federal Officers who would like to take over Washington by holding a political seat. Condition is excellent PLUS! Measures 16.5in x 11in. MWF1279
