Extra fine Confederate sword, with excellent scabbard, by Thomas Leech, Memphis, Tennessee. Rare to find this model cavalry saber, with early ~Memphis Novelty Works~ markings, in this condition. All of the original wrapping and wire remain complimenting the bright blade and guard with deep, clearly defined stamp. The sword is in original, untouched condition and would rank as one of the best of this model known. MWF850
