An early 19th century Philadelphia mahogany tall case clock with a heroic painted dial signed by Abraham Cassel of Germantown (Philadelphia). With a solid and veneered mahogany Federal case, a painted dial with a Federal Eagle, and with an eight day running bell strike clockworks.

When the term "running" is used it only means that the item was observed to tick for a short period of time and the essential parts appear to be with the item, but whether the items needs cleaning, oiling, adjustments etc. has not been explored.
