Assembled sterling silver and Chinese jade stationary tray with mountings by Edward Farmer, the celadon hued plaque pierced with the Eight Daoist Treasures surrounding a Shou medallion, all set below the glass floor of a dish with sterling silver walls decorated with flowers and tendrils in low relief on a granulated ground, the base marked 'Edward I Farmer New York' and 'Sterling' and raised on pieced coral beads (lacking one bead support), overall: 4.125; Provenance: Deaccession USC Fisher Museum of Art, Los Angeles, California, to benefit the Acquisitions Fund
