A very good overall example with only some minor surface and small color scratches, mostly lower center on the face of the tray; slight fading on the red border; a few outer edge rim chips and nicks; also sold with this lot is a nice original black and white photograph of "Johnny" and "Maureen" which was used for the tray illustration, complete with penciled-in notes detailing what colors were to be used on the tray; also interesting is the fact that this tray was formed with left-over sheet metal that is printed on the back with advertising for Hampton Ale and the back of this tray was never cleaned and primed as usual; condition 7.5 to 8 / EX
