35" x 35" x 19" deep; this cooler was designed in 1924 by the late Cecil Barbee of Kentucky; construction was of redwood and the piece contains a metal ice tank liner concealed between top sliding doors and featured a central box on top with lid which held drinking straws; this is either shop made and circa 1920's to 30's or a more recent fabrication with the opener and sign added; this cooler has been refinished at some point in the past prior to display in the museum; also one opener is missing and the other is likely a later addition; as well as is the nice 1920's porcelain sign; the sign measures 6" x 15" and has nearly no wear or marks; a great and unusual early cooler design.
