RARE AND SCARCE COCA-COLA PAINTED BARN SIDE

7 1/2' x 16'; 1920's to 1930's; this partial barn siding was from a barn in Marietta Georgia; the Schmidts were offered the side of the barn just before demolition; the side was deconstructed, numbered and re-assembled and has been a prominent and integral feature in the museum and collection nearly since its inception; the normal wear and rusticity of the piece evokes a wonderful folky feel and is classic Coca-Cola advertising at its best; the barn side is mounted to an iron frame which is firmly integrated with the base and the entire piece is on wheels with handles at both ends for easy moving and transport, VG
