CIRCA 1896 COCA-COLA SYRUP CERAMIC DISPENSER

21" tall, this is a nice complete example which presents very well overall; the lid, bowl and base have uniform close-patterned crazing; the top of the bowl has more pronounced staining but still has wonderfully strong reds and golds remaining; the base has good reds left with some rubbing and fading to the gold highlights; base also has 2 very minor stress cracks, both appear to have possibly been from original manufacture of the piece; both are hard to locate and neither of them impact the display of the urn; the only repair to any of the elements is a small nick on the edge of the lid on the lip of the gold band; it has been professionally filled and restored and merely appears as a small dull area in the gold band; all things considered, this is a great, complete example of a Coca-Cola's classic dispenser; condition 7.5 to 8/EX
