Like a number of these small signs of the period, this sign was designed to hang in front of a soda fountain back bar mirror, out from a distance of 6" to 8" thereby making the reverse print on the back of the sign readable in the mirrored glass of the back bar; this is a stunning example with only light stains that have served to slightly tone primarily only the gold banding highlight that is 1/4" inside the metal gold frame; otherwise, it has only a few very minor surface dimples or warping; but certainly nothing extreme and mentioned only for accuracy; still retains original mounting chain as well as its crest located top center; also has its complete silver highlighted back sign on textured paper that is very clean with no wear and has only 4 small glue spots from a previous mounting display; truly a superlative small sign to accent any collection; condition 8.7 to 9.2 / EX to NM
