LARGE COCA-COLA NORDICA CELLULOID SIGN

24" x 19"; this large format 1905 celluloid sign is a very rare survivor; the colors and presence of the piece are indeed impressive despite its flaws; construction of this piece is heavy celluloid over cardboard. Over the years this piece has taken on a convexed warp, however it is still very obvious this piece began life as an embossed oval on a rectangle; otherwise, there is a central tear at the top edge, as well as some edge wear and minor peeling at the bottom 1" of the piece, primarily; with a few mild stains, minor marks and light overall wear; the piece is nicely mounted and presented in a Lucite shadowbox frame assembly; condition 6 to 7 / G
