1937 COCA-COLA LARGE 3-D DIE-CUT WINDOW DISPLAY

Sign In to see what this sold for

56" x 62"; beautiful cardboard cutout and a vey rare piece to find; terrific color, great images in good overall condition; with only some spots and stains on the two oval logos left and right, some minor edge wear and light soiling with a few very shallow surface bends. The middle part of the door folds out from the piece and is designed to simulate a 4-paneled rotating door going into a soda fountain, serving of course Coca-Cola. This piece was designed to have a top banner that fit through the slits on the left and right side and would provide a fixed position for the door; that banner read "The Pleasantest Place in Town", however was separated from this piece many years ago and only the main portion was acquired. That would not be a difficult item to replicate and would fully compliment the display; also missing, are two separate figures: a standup lady and a stand-up couple about to enter, which could be placed anywhere the user chose near the display showing traffic coming into the soda fountain; condition 7.7 to 8.2 / VG to EX
