1940'S PORCELAIN CUT-OUT COCA-COLA BOTTLE w/ NEON

Sign In to see what this sold for

81" X24" X 12" deep; including the base bracket stand; as a neon and porcelain trade sign it doesn’t get much better; these signs are very rare and the porcelain sign itself was found in a barn in the early 90's; the porcelain endured years of outdoor exposure, but after cleaning came out in beautiful condition; only 4 or 5 surface chips can found on or around the almost 60 mounting holes along the edge; only light evidence of soiling remains; the old can and framework was somewhat deteriorated but has been beautifully and professionally re-created, restored and fitted with appropriate neon; this example is thought to have been part of a collage of neon signs along with an outdoor clock that adorned a Coke plant in Ohio; condition 9.2 to 9.4 / NM
