VICTORIAN BRASS AND ONYX PIANO LAMP, drop-in B&H font in a pierced holder, spiraling stem with 1876, 1878 and 1888 patent dates at top, lacking adjustment catch, two-tier base supported on four legs ending in scrolled feet, electrified burner, outstanding polychrome and gilt decorated opaque Late 19th century. 62" H to top of shade, 48" H to top of font, 16 1/2" x 15 1/2 base.
Provenance: Estate collection of Dorothy Gooch, Hopkinsville, KY.

Excellent condition, minor wear to shade decoration, primarily to the gilding, font only drilled for electric, onyx top with a 1/4" x 1/2" chip to one small end, two finials with lower edge losses.
