A large italian carved Fruitwood Console and Mirror, Tuscany, circa 1885. The oval mirror plated adorned by berried ollive branches to one side and acorn and oak branches to the other interspersed by frolicking putti, the bottom with the entwined branches tied by a bow and centered by a monogramed medallion, the shell carved D-shaped console similarly decorated and raised on paw feet centered by a grotesque mask.
A B Console height 42 3/4 in., width 47 in., depth 18 3/4 in., Mirror height 57 in. 108.5 cm, 119.5 cm, 47.5 cm; 145 cm. Condition reportThe Mirror and Console are in excellent condition. The Oval mirror has 2
hairlines where it is joined on the top area as well as 2 on the bottom. Base has two
hairline cracks at joined areas on the mountainous area of the base on the left side and two on the right, otherwise,wonderful condition.
