EVA WATSON-SCHUTZE (American, 1867-1935); Platinum print on rice paper of Jane Byrd Whitehead and her son Peter, Byrdcliffe Colony, ca. 1905; Matted and mounted in Byrdcliffe frame; Provenance: Estate of Peter Whitehead, son of Jane and Ralph Radcliffe-Whitehead; Exhibition: ''The Byrdcliffe Arts and Crafts Colony: Life by Design,'' Delaware Art Museum (catalogue # 80), 1984 and illustrated in the exhibition catalogue frontispiece; Pencil-signed with dragonfly monogram; Sheet: 8'' x 6''; Note: Ms. Whitehead, a Byrdcliffe colony founder, wears a brooch designed by her friend C.R. Ashbee.
