Frémont" mounted to rear board, a chromolithograph of Frémont's Rocky Mountain flag, etc. Frontispiece portrait with tissue-guard. 10½x7½, original ¾ dark brown morocco and pebbled cloth, gilt spine, marbled endpapers, all edges marbled. First Edition.Memoirs of the great Pathfinder (or Pathmarker), based on his original accounts of his adventures in the west. The illustrations and maps are quite noteworthy.
