Description: 108, [3] pp. Two maps (one folding). (8vo) original cloth. First Edition.Includes a list of the soldier's buried at Gettysburg as well as the text of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address and the orations of other dignitaries of the day. Includes an Autograph Note, in an unknown hand describing the practice of burying the dead in long, unmarked trenches following battles. Note dated Dec. 5, [18]89. Laid in is a clipped signature of General James Longstreet. Also included, a later map of the battlefield and other modern ephemeral material.
