First 2 volumes (published in 1912) contain a history of the state, the 3 later volumes (1917) cover the history of the 26 counties. A cornerstone text on New Mexico history, uncommon in complete sets. Laid in is a typeset address dated July 31, 1912 from the President of the Historical Society of New Mexico, L.
