First Edition.Travels through the former colonies of the eastern seaboard and into the Canadian provinces, with perceptive comment on the population, social mores, etc.; there are three views and a plan of Niagara Falls, plans of Washington, D.C., and Quebec, a view of Bethlehem, PA, etc. The large map, hand-colored in outline, shows the northern part of the United States, with inset of southern states.
