Author: Harper Bros. Description: Engraved map, engraved by C. Copley. 44x57 cm. (17½x22½").Uncommon map of the United States west to the Rocky Mountains and the independent Republic of Texas. The numerous cities, towns and settlements shown demonstrate the expansion westward into lands once populated by Native Americans, and the tribes are located west of the Mississippi.
