NICOLAI IVANOVICH FECHIN RUSSIAN/AMERICAN 1881-1955 "Portrait of an Indian Youth" Oil on canvas 16 x 20 in (40.6 cm x 50.8 cm) Initialed lower left , PROVENANCE: Current owner obtained it from an estate in Kingston, NY. Estate owner was an avid art collector,real estate investor who lived in France,and New Mexico,Florida. He befriended a lot of the artists he collected including J. McEntee, John Sloan, Emil Armin, Ray Jonson, A Houser and Lucy L'Engle.
