Measures: Approximately 1" diameter. Metal: Silver Frame. Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue,...and a Sixpence for Her Shoe." For hundreds of years, brides have customarily had a sixpence coin on their wedding day to bless their marriage with wealth and prosperity. Imagine giving the bride a sixpence coin almost 400 years old. This sixpence is of the King Charles I who ruled England from 1600-1649.
