Chain: 18" Adjustable to 20". Measures: 1.1" Diameter. Metal: Stainless Steel and Meteorite. First discovered in Namibia, Africa in 1836, the Gibeon meteorites come from broken asteroid fragments. Dating studies have placed the age at around 4 billion years old. It is difficult to acquire new Gibeon meteorites because exports from Namibia are now illegal. Contemporary stainless steel pendant is 1.1" in diameter. It features a 9mm round highly polished ball of Gibeon meteorite that is fashioned so that it will rotate in the mounting. The pendant is on a 18" custom designed five strand designer necklace that can be extended by 2" with the adjustable chain clasp. Comes with descriptive card about this meteorite
