Measures: .9" Tall x .75" Diameter. Metal: Bronze with Sterling Silver Loop. It is interesting that the concept of money developed in many different shapes and localities around the globe about the same time. These early examples of money in trade date from a period around 500 B.C. Prior to that time transactions involved barter where you offered me a goat and in trade I gave you my grain. Commerce developed when both parties recognized "money" had value that would be accepted by someone else in a future transaction. This concept of money changed civilization forever opening up exploration and world trade. Comes with a descriptive brochure and Certificate of Authenticity.
