Sha'ar Ha Rivshon 'o Petach Hechivson 'el L'Shon Hakodesh The first gate, or The outward door to the holy tongue [&] The second gate, Abraham Shackleton's copy with his ink signature on title, also another earlier inscription at head partly trimmed, a few ink marks on first title, Second Gate lacks title, browned, [First Gate Wing cf. Ri1611, ESTC cites the above edition but does not assign it a Wing number & Second Gate Wing unverifiable], later endpapers, 19th century calf, edges rubbed, sm. 8vo, by Evan Tyler, for Humphrey Robinson, [1654 & 1655]; sold not subject to return. Either Abraham Shackleton (1696-1771), schoolmaster, or his grandson, Abraham Shackleton (1752-1818), schoolmaster and theologian; pupils at the school included Edmund Burke and the United Irishman, James Napper Tandy.
