Newton from Mrs. Johnson", printed exhibition catalogue number, contemporary red straight-grained morocco, gilt, dulled, edges rubbed, g.e., 12mo.

***Inscriptions read: "This book was the proprty of Corpl James ?Whooe of The Royal Regiment of Horse Guards Blue He was kild at the Battle of Waterloo in the year of 1815 French Flanders" [&] "This prayer book together with the other relics (star, candlesticks & history) were on view at the Waterloo Exhibition 1890 Catalogue Number 68"..
