19th C Russian Caucasian Kindjal Dagger

Caucasian Kindjal. Straight 12 1/2 inch blade with three fullers; grip of familiar form with engraved niello silver mounts and wood gripscales; leather scabbard with engraved niello silver mounts, the reverse of the throat with inscription and date 1297 (1879). Total length is 19". Nice Original example.
