Chinese black lacquer six-panel screen with inlaid decoration, comprising a central scene of the Eight Daoist Immortals, Three Start Immortals and Hehe Erxian along with auspicious animals arriving at a pavilion complex worked in ivory, soapstone, and mother-of-pearl inlay, all surrounded with reserves of the Four Classic Beauties, scholar's items, elegant vessels and magestic beasts silhoueted against a cash coin ground inlaid in mother-of-pearl, the reverse scattered with gilt floral sprigs, each outer panel: 72.25''h x 16''w; Provenance: from the Tiburon/San Francisco Estate of Gerda Kircher
