(Lot of 2) Chinese coral carvings, now mounted as lamp finials, the first fashioned as a monkey clutching a ripe peach to his chest and with a small peach resting on its right shoulder, the reverse incised 'shen'; the second a dog holding a ruyi scepter and with a blossom on its shoulder, the back incised 'wu' (which corresponds to the dog in the Chinese zodiac), first coral 2.6''h and overall: 3.4''h, second coral: 2.3''h and overall: 3.2''h; Provenance: Deaccession USC Fisher Museum of Art, Los Angeles, California, to benefit the Acquisitions Fund
