Yellow and white hand-blown glass vase, Kyohei Fujita (1921-2004), of slightly frosted translucent glass extensively mottled with lemon-yellow and opaque white spots, the globular body with a flat circular base and a pair of small loop handles bracketing a short neck flaring to a very slight lobed rim, 7.25''h; Provenance: from the artist to Mrs. Tamiko Mitsui to Yori Mitsui (her son) to Mrs. Misako Mitsui (his wife). Kyohei Fujita received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the United States Glass Art Society and the Japanese Order of Culture.
