Chinese wucai decorated porcelain covered jar, Qing dynasty, now mounted as a lamp with Western ormolou gilt bronze mountings, the tapering body boldly featuring four lobed reserves with green and aubergine fish amid water reeds, all complemented by lobed leaves set against a red enameled cash coin-patterned ground, the neck with stylized mountains and waves alternating with auspicious emblems, lid decorated ensuite, now fitted with an ormolou base with a floral edge (hairline cracks to jar and chips to lid), porcelain jar and lid: 14''h, overall: 31.5''h; Provenance: Deaccession USC Fisher Museum of Art, Los Angeles, California, to benefit the Acquisitions Fund
