1859 Steam Gauge. The dial reads American Steam Gauge Co. Boston. Sole Proprietors & Manufrs. of the Bourdon steam gauge. With T.W. Lane's improvement. Patented February 22, 1859. Stamped on the rim reads Bourdon patented August 3 1852. Also on the rim is stamped 10879 which is probably the serial number. The diameter of the dial across measures 6 1/2 inches.

In very good condition. In as found condition.
