Pair of 18th century O/C portraits of man and woman. Gentleman pointing to books on shelf (possibly law books) identified on canvas reverse as Albert Hinrich Meyer 1728 - 1786 - 22" x 29". Lady identified on canvas reverse as Anna Elisabeth Meyer - 1732-1783 - 22" x 28". Both signed by artist Berguis 1775 - Ancestry indicates both were born in Bergen, Norway.
