Here is an original animation cel and drawing used in the production of The New Pink Panther show cartoon, done at the studio of DePatie & Freleng. Crazyleg Crane was a 16-episode made-for-television cartoon series. The program ran on television throughout the 1970's. In this scene he's got his beak stuck in a board. The cel comes with a matching overlay drawing of Crazy Leg Crane, stuck in a piece of wood. * Original Animated Cel and Drawing * Original "rough" animation drawing, in non-photo blue and black with the notations in non-photo blue and black * Overall size is a 12-field drawing that is 10 1/2" × 12 1/2" Excellent condition This is an original hand-painted cel set-up used in the production of an episode of "The New Pink Panther Show." Each one-of-a-kind set-up represents a slight change in position of the characters. When individually photographed and projected in rapid succession, the images appear to move. * To create production cels, the original animator's drawing is transferred onto an acetate cel (by hand-inking and/or photo copying). The cel is then hand-painted on the reverse side. * The cel and drawing are ready to framed and matted. The animator's notations are shown at the bottom of the cel and throughout the drawing. The cel is multi-layered and are stapled together. There is a slight tear to upper left side of the drawing. * * *
