Insane Ren And Stimpy Cel Art Original Production Scar

This is an original production animation cel from the Nickelodeon TV show Ren & Stimpy. The show follows two characters - Ren, a crazy Chihuahua - and - Stimpy, an incredibly stupid cat - as they think up to all kinds of hair brained schemes and get themselves into some sticky situations. The Ren and Stimpy Show debuted in August 1991 with a two-part episode, 'Stimpy's Big Day / The Big Shot' and became an instant hit. It was the third Nicktoon ever to be aired on the Network alongside Doug and Rugrats.  * Ren is insane * Original Production Art Cel Overall Size of the Cel: 10 1/2" x 1/2" Very Good condition This is an original hand-painted cel set-up used in the production of an episode of "The Ren & Stimpy Show." Each one-of-a-kind set-up represents a slight change in position of the characters. When individually photographed and projected in rapid succession, the images appear to move. * To create production cels, the original animator's drawing is transferred onto an acetate cel (by hand-inking and/or photo copying). The cel is then hand-painted on the reverse side. * The cel received by the winning bidder may be ever so slightly differenet then the one shown in the auction photo. * The cel is ready to be matted and framed.  The animator's notations are shown at the bottom of the cel.   *
