This is an original animation production model cel of that not so average bear "Yogi Bear." This cel is dated Mar. 1960, which is likely when Hanna Barbera was working on animation for Yogi's first self-titled show that premiered in 1961. This model cel shows the various different poses that Yogi could be in. * Bob Singer's signature appears in black Sharpie at the bottom of the cel. * Bob Singer is an American animation artist, character designer, layout and background artist and storyboard director of animated television programs, most memorably of several Hanna Barbara productions such as The Flintstones, Jonny Quest, Scooby-Doo, Yogi Bear, Droopy, Tom and Jerry, The Jetsons, The Smurfs, Superfriends, and the Harlem Globe Trotters cartoons. * * Original Animated Cel, hand-painted, with peg holes along the bottom edge Overall Size of the Cel: 10 1/2" x 12 1/2" Excellent Condition -ready to be matted and framedThis is an original cel used in production.  Each one-of-a-kind set-up represents a slight change in position of the characters. When individually photographed and projected in rapid succession, the images appear to move. * To create production cels, the original animator's drawing is transferred onto an acetate cel (by hand-inking and/or photo copying).
