This Is A Limited Edition Hand Signed Giclee By Reuben Colley Titled "COCKTAILS". Giclee On Paper Signed And Numbered By The Artist. This Piece Is Numbered From A U.S. Edition Size Of 95. Image Measures 24" X 24". Includes Certificate Of Authenticity From The Publisher, Washington Green. Comes Unframed. Mint Condition. British Painter Reuben Colley, Depicts A Wide Range Of Subjects, Placing Emphasis Of The Atmosphere Created In Each Piece. Colley Received A BTEC National Diploma In Art And Design From The Bournville Art College In Birmingham In 1995. He Then Went On To Receive A BA Honors In Fine Art With An Emphasis In Painting From The University Of Wolverhampton. After Graduating, Colley Organized Small Exhibitions In Local Venues Around Birmingham And Manchester. Although He Was Consistently Selling Out Shows, Colley Found He Still Required A Regular Income To Support Himself And His Painting. He Then Joined The Halcyon Gallery, As A Framer In Their Warehouse. Through This Experience, He Became Re-Invigorated And Encouraged To Broaden The Range Of His Work. Colley Is Currently Published By Washington Green. In Speaking About His Technique, Colley States, I Don't Paint A Particular Subject, I Try To Depict An Atmosphere, Which Can Be Anything From Relaxation, Solitude, Comfort Or Something That Makes Me Feel At Ease When I Look At It. A Still Picture Gives Me Something That I Do Not Get From A Photograph. There Is Also A Visual Element That Inspires Me Color, Light, Distance, Or An Interesting Contrast That Catches My Eye. Keeping My Painting Fairly Loose Means I Can Concentrate On Enjoying The Use Of Paint, And I Believe That The Enjoyment I Get From Painting A Picture Also Shows Through For The Viewer To Enjoy
