Lloyd Weston (Am.) framed oil on canvas full field of blooming flowers, entitled "Spring in New York", signed lower right "Lloyd Weston - 1980". 44 1/2" high, 44 1/2" wide; sight size: 35 1/2" high, 35 1/2" wide. H. Lloyd Weston is a Jamaican-born expressionist painter who, after graduating from Farleigh Dickinson University and honing his painting through independent study in London and Paris, has been showcased internationally, making appearances at the Renoir Gallery, The National Arts Club and the United Nations. Weston’s landscapes comprise a painterly, impressionistic homage to the simple beauty of nature and applies an exuberant palette and a keen sense of abstraction.
