Rolled map on old dowels, includes the continental United States, Caribbean and Central American countries, and the Sandwich Islands (Hawaii). Dated 1858, with population table at bottom showing results from the 1850 census. Approximately 64 x 67 inches overall.
Condition reportMajor professional restoration, laid down on a stiff acid-free material, considerable losses to areas across the top and along each edge. Now very sturdy, displays well, could gently roll for transport without stress.
